At Something’s Got to Change, our team of Christ-centered conciliators supports individuals, spouses, families, and churches who are seeking restoration through biblically grounded resolution in Fairfax, VA.
Many who visit us are looking for Christian marriage counseling or a Christian counselor—but instead, they find something deeply transformative.
While we are not licensed counselors or therapists, our trained conciliators offer a relational and spiritual approach centered on Scripture, not psychology.
Through Christ-centered conciliation, we guide people through interpersonal challenges with truth, humility, and grace. Our process addresses the root issues—often spiritual in nature—and helps move people toward lasting peace, forgiveness, and unity in Christ.
We don’t offer therapy. We offer biblical conciliation, a ministry of reconciliation built on Gospel truth.

Our methods are anchored in biblical teachings, offering a perspective that promotes forgiveness, understanding, and reconciliation. We turn to the Scriptures for guidance and wisdom, ensuring that our practices not only resolve conflicts but also nurture spiritual growth.
The cornerstone of our process is a deep, empathetic understanding of each participant’s situation and feelings. We listen attentively, acknowledging the complexities and emotional depths of each circumstance, ensuring that everyone feels heard and respected.
In situations involving marital and family relationships, we utilize a unique male/female team of conciliators. This balanced approach ensures diverse perspectives and fosters a more comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand, providing a well-rounded pathway to resolution.
Each journey of conciliation is tailored to the specific needs of the participants. We offer individual coaching sessions and thoughtful homework assignments, designed to help uncover root causes and personal contributions to the conflict, preparing participants for meaningful reconciliation.
Our role is to facilitate, guide, and support, not to dictate solutions. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the process, making their own decisions, and finding common ground. This collaborative process leads to more sustainable and heartfelt resolutions.
We believe that reconciliation is a journey, not a destination. Our support extends beyond the resolution of immediate conflicts, providing resources and guidance to foster long-term peace and harmony in relationships.
The journey to peace is unique for each individual, and so is our pricing. Our services are tailored to your specific needs, making the process open-ended. We are committed to supporting you until a resolution is reached. As a non-profit firm, we also offer a sliding scale fee schedule based on family income (subject to verification). For more details, please refer to our cost chart.
Every situation is different, and so is the time it takes to achieve reconciliation. The duration depends on the complexity of the issues and the willingness of the participants to engage in the process.
Every case is unique, and effectiveness largely depends on the participants’ willingness to engage in the process. We offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss the potential for conciliation in your situation.
We provide a framework for peace, but the success depends on the participants’ commitment to work toward their goals under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and to practice them in their daily lives.
We offer flexibility in our sessions. You can choose to meet us in person at our Fairfax, VA office, we can conduct sessions virtually via Zoom, or even combine both approaches.
We are a trauma informed ministry. While we are prepared to handle various situations, not all cases are suitable for conciliation. Our trained Christ-centered conciliators will assess each case to determine the most appropriate course of action. We believe participants should be able to make their own decisions. If participants are not able to do so, the circumstances may not be suitable for conciliation.
Something’s Got to Change is a Christ-centered conciliation service in Fairfax, VA. Committed to guiding individuals, couples, family, friends, coworkers & neighbors towards understanding & healing, we blend biblical wisdom with professional expertise to transform conflicts into opportunities for growth and reconciliation.
